Entry #9¾: Complex things in simple way
Imagine you have a conversation with someone about capitalism, and your audience doesn't really wanna talk about it because it's causing them anxiety and thoughts "Everything is bad, and we can't do anything with it". But conversation happens anyway, and guess what could make an audience like this listen to you? Statistics, voting, high-level research, British scientists have proven..
So, Michael Moore, perfectly understanding the common situation, used for his documentary film "Capitalism: A Love Story" the easiest, and at the same time one of the most controversial ways to talk about complex things, talk about it in a simple satiric way.
(..Imagine how fast you see the faces of your
audience with this expression.)

There is no need to go way too far for examples, even the title "Capitalism: A Love Story" is already one of the purest examples of satire, that everyone can get. The other useful moment of speech using this voice is the flexibility of text. I like to think that this blog and the film in question have similarities in the voice, even if the works of Michael Moore are obviously more professional. In this case, I can prove the point of flexibility even on my own experience, I mean, of course, I can create careful research, including the opinion of experts, and of course, cite it, but isn't it funnier to fill it with memes and random rhetorical questions? So for Michael Moore, of course, he can just commonly go to Wall Street but isn't it funnier and attract more attention, if he did it ON TANK? (Just on the armored cat in the film, but you got me)
